As london was two hours away from where we stayed, the morning was pretty short. We were just able to go from the bus to the British museum and it was already time to eat. Then we visited the museum by ourselves. There were all kinds of things from every time period and from everywhere in the world. We could see weapons, jewelry, paintings, sculptures and more. Afterwards, we walked through the city again to get closer to big Ben and Buckingham palace and we enjoyed two-hour and a half free time. Everyone did different things like shopping, visiting or just walking to see London. Once every one came back we followed the teachers to the diner place : a pub. We had a floor just for us and ate a traditional dish: fish and chips. To finish the day, we went back to the bus and started the return journey.

 Thursday, October 8th

Today, we spent the day in London to discover the most famous places in the British capital. We visited Westminster, where we saw Big Ben and the buildings around the Houses of Parliament.

Then, we went to the British Museum where we discovered many historical objects and learned more about different civilizations. We also went to Trafalgar Square, a very famous square in London.

During the day, we also enjoyed the London atmosphere by walking past typical London cafés and observing the streets and everyday life of the city.

At the end of the day, we had dinner in a restaurant where we ate fish and chips, a traditional British dish. It was a good opportunity to try a local specialty before leaving London.

Finally, at around 10 p.m., we left for Dover to continue our school trip. This day allowed us to discover London, its culture and its famous monuments while spending a good time together.

So yesterday I spent the all the day in London,  England’s capital city. I discovered some famous places like the British museum and its exceptional number of artworks that come from all around the world.
After that, we had some free time to discover the city and its atmosphere. With Alexandre we saw Big Ben and London eye on the same bridge.
And after that, we walked in the district and saw the life of Londoners in the pubs.
At the end we had dinner in a pub, a typical restaurant in England, we ate fish and chips the most famous meal in U.K.
Finally before leaving London the bus driver showed the London bridge to us.
That was a great day for me and my class mates that allowed us to discover London in a very good ambiance.
